Florida Family has once again enhanced its customer service standards with our "First Call Settlement Program."

What is a first call settlement? Simply put, it is Florida Family’s ability to relay a property claim to one of our remote field claims representatives, who can write an estimate of damages and issue a check to a policyholder on the spot. The transaction is generally handled within a few hours.

Our claims department has been the recipient of the latest in technological advances to ensure that our agents and policyholders can count on receiving comprehensive claims services in the quickest possible time. Florida Family claims vehicles have been equipped with digital cameras to photograph damage as well as portable laser printers to generate estimates and checks.

From start to finish, the claims resolution process is handled electronically – a paperless solution that reduces everyone’s costs and provides service that is second to none.
